Submittal packages built from the matched set, not by hand
The same record that produced the quote produces the submittal. Cut sheets are marked with the selected options, photometric files are attached, and a revision to one line updates the package.
Short answer
A lighting submittal package shows the design team exactly what will be supplied for each fixture type on the schedule: a cover sheet and index, a cross-reference from schedule type to product, manufacturer cut sheets with the chosen options clearly marked, photometric (IES) files or reports, driver and control data, and, for custom linear runs, dimensioned layout or shop drawings. SuppLux generates the package from the matched fixture set, so the submittal always agrees with the quote.
Key takeaways
- One cut sheet per fixture type, with the ordered options marked, not a whole catalogue page.
- Custom linear runs need dimensioned run layouts, not only a product sheet.
- Revisions change the line once; quote and submittal update together.

Why generated packages have fewer errors
Most submittal mistakes are copy mistakes: a 3500K fixture that should have been 3000K, a 120 V driver on a 347 V circuit, a lens option left unmarked. When the package is assembled from the same structured line that was matched and quoted, those fields are carried through rather than retyped.
Revisions without rework
Design teams return comments. SuppLux logs each comment against the fixture type it concerns, updates the line, and regenerates the quote and the resubmittal together with a new revision number, so the approved submittal and the purchase order describe the same product.

Frequently asked questions
Do you include shop drawings for custom linear lighting?
For made-to-length runs, the package includes run layouts with section lengths, joiners, corners, feed points and driver locations.
What happens when the design team returns comments?
Comments are logged against the affected lines. The revised lines flow into both the quote and the resubmittal, and the package records the revision number and date.
Send us the spec. We will do the matching.
Upload a fixture schedule, a spec section or a drawing set. You get a line-by-line match, alternates and a quote back from a person who knows lighting.
